This page describes what NicerAPOD itself processes today for site delivery, sign-in, session handling, and analytics.
What Gets Processed
Routine technical data may be processed by the hosting platform and service providers that keep NicerAPOD available, such as standard request logs, delivery metadata, and operational diagnostics.
This page describes NicerAPOD's current behavior. It does not reuse NASA's privacy terms, because NicerAPOD is an independent site.
Authentication and Sessions
If you sign in with Google through Supabase Auth, NicerAPOD processes the account details needed to complete sign-in and show your session in the product, such as your name, email address, and profile image when provided by the identity provider.
Session cookies are used to maintain authentication state between requests.
Third-Party Services
NicerAPOD currently relies on infrastructure and service providers for hosting, backend operations, authentication, and Google sign-in when that path is used.
When enabled on the deployed site, NicerAPOD uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate page traffic and referrers. The current integration is limited to the standard Google tag and does not enable advertising features or custom event tracking.
